New transit shed for DHL Ltd on the Airport City south site, including associated services and external works.
FDG were employed to undertake a review of the Employer’s Requirement information, and then develop the design for BAM, culminating in a set of construction information drawings. Site duties were limited.
The design comprised of a two storey portal frame industrial unit with outboard offices, clad in insulated horizontal composite panels with feature glazing to the main entrance, and ribbon windows to the office accommodation areas.
The building is approximately 23.7m long x 13m wide, with a duo pitched roof at 6 deg slope with a parapet to the perimeter.
This building was the first to be developed at the new Airport City Logistic site.
