We are pleased to announce that the York Global Institute of Safe Autonomy at the University of York, which was designed by FDG, is about to start on site with Interserve.

Located at the Heslighton East campus, the state-of-the-art research and development facility is expected to strengthen the UK’s position as a leader in the safe introduction of advanced technology by bringing together industrial partners and world experts in the field.

Due for completion mid-2021, the £10m building includes a rooftop laboratory as well as specialist robotics design and testing equipment.
