The design of the building aims to inspire students and visitors alike, providing a unique opportunity to access state of the art technologies and facilities whilst immersing themselves in the country’s leading digital media community.

Built to inspire, stimulate and encourage collaborative learning the building sets a high standard for academic fit-out, within a BCO compliant shell and core office building.

Whilst being designed specifically as an education establishment for the University of Salford, and their media students, visual and physical public access into the building was seen as an essential element to ensure that future students and commercial sponsors can experience the technology and creativity that it produces.

• TV and Radio studios with live broadcast capability
• Green screen gaming studio
• Post-production edit suites
• Digital performance theatre
• Cafeteria with touch screen interactive tables
• Reconfigurable ‘Christie digital tile’ wall
• Publicly accessible digital learning zone
