Architect & Interior Designer.

The Chapman Building is a predominantly 2 storey building which accommodates 5 lecture theatres of various sizes together with ancillary support accommodation including a small servery / cafeteria, art gallery, Anglican and RC Chaplaincies, AV media unit, offices and toilets.
The purpose of the refurbishment was to address current shortfalls in building performance and usability whilst addressing future needs. Also proposing new external treatments and internal re-planning to address the negative perception of the existing building. The new design creates opportunities for the Chapman Building to provide a significant contribution within the future development of new buildings identified within the University Campus Masterplan.
