A brownfield site given new life by a close relationship between public and private interest.
The site was of the outset a mixture of redundant semi-industrial buildings and the partially flooded floating hotel. In clearance of this but with careful respect for the historical waterfront, a new marina was achieved, supported by retirement living accommodation to high standards, a quality supermarket, restaurant and refurbished existing retail.
The development revitalises the area of waterfront and allows consideration of adjacent areas to be considered for regeneration.
Concept design architects and full architecture and landscape design to planning approval stage.
