A new five storey, 25,000m2 building to house the relocated Faculties of Education and Health, Psychology and Social Care.

The building provides staff and students with some of the highest standards of health education facilities in the UK.

All five floors of the building have been designed to provide maximum flexibility for general teaching and learning areas. They are equipped with the latest technology, alongside specialist facilities for educating staff and students.

Four large lecture theatres are located on the ground floor, along with a well equipped drama studio and multi purpose hall. Two of the lecture theatres have retractable seating for up to 200 guests. There are also four generously sized meeting / seminar rooms.

Also on the ground floor, there is a well-equipped drama studio and multi-purpose hall with retractable seating for up to 200 people.

The building comprises:

  • 4 lecture theatres
  • Multi functional sports / 200 seat lecture hall
  • Music and art studios
  • Social learning and dining spaces

Role and Responsibility

Architectural monitoring of client requirements and contractor proposals.
