FDG scheme for the interior design & fit-out of Thales offcies in Reading have been shortlisted in the Mixology North 17 Awards for the Large Commercial Interiors Project of the Year. Winners to be announced at the prestigious award ceremony on Thursday 7th December 2017 at Manchester Central.

GlaxoSmithKline Centre for Sustainable Chemistry named Physical Sciences Building of the Year

Announced at a glittering awards ceremony at York Racecourse as part of the 2017 S-Labs Conference, the GlaxoSmithKline Centre for Sustainable Chemistry has been named Physical Sciences Building of the Year. The project, which completed in September 2016, has provided the University of Nottingham with access to world-class laboratories and teaching facilities within a striking timber framed building. Designed and built to the highest levels of sustainability, it is expected to be the UK's first carbon neutral laboratory.

GlaxoSmithKline Centre for Sustainable Chemistry wins double at RICS East Midlands

The FDG team stood alongside key members of the development team to accept not one, but two awards at the RICS East Midlands Awards 2017. The scheme, which has already scooped a number of accolades, took home the 'Project of the Year' and 'Design through Innovation' awards and will go forward to the RICS National Awards in November.

Work begins at Burnley Vision Park
Work begins at Burnley Vision Park

Work has started on the FDG designed, cutting edge technology Park that will provide a "world class location for advanced manufacturing and digital businesses". Located next to Burnley College and UCLan, off Princess Way, phase one of the Burnley Vision Park development is expected to be completed by September, and will see a range of hi-spec business units created for start-ups as well as expansion space for growing businesses.
