The GlaxoSmithKline Centre for Sustainable Chemistry at Nottingham University has won 'Best Sustainable Building on a Brownfield Site' at the Brownfield Briefing Awards. Due to complete next year, the facility will serve as a hub to catalyse new collaborations with industry.

FDG is pleased to announce that RAL Space at the Harwell Science Campus in Oxfordshire is now open! Designed by our specialist complex laboratories team, the £22m centre will test satellites prior to being sent to space as well as housing the largest and most sophisticated space design, production and research facilities in Europe. RAL Space was opened by Science Minister Jo Johnson in July 2015 in the company of a senior team from the European Space Agency.

FDG is part of the project team that has been shortlisted for the 2015 North West LABC Building Excellence Awards for the new Golden Gates Housing Trust Headquarters at bank Park, Warrington in the category 'Best Large Commercial Building'
The latest FDG designed building at the Ansty Manufacturing Technology Park in the East Midlands, was successfully handed over on Friday 23rd January 2015. The Aerospace Research Centre (ARC) Building will provide 9100sq.m of secure workshop space and ancillary support accommodation, allowing for multi-tenant use under the operational administration of the MTC.
Burnley Innovation Park, made up of 130,000sq.ft of manufacturing and office space in Burnley's Knowledge Quarter has been granted detailed planning permission. A start on site is expected later this year. Units of between 1,000sq.ft and 30,000sq.ft will be available. The Master plan was designed by The Fairhursts Design Group.
