As part of an ongoing comission at the Brewery site, FDG designed the second phase of the new Visitors Centre development.

The new facade of the Visitors Centre is sympathetic to the new boundary walls.

The development included the refurbishment of the existing Unicorn Suite, demolition of the existing storage shed and the creation of new exhibition spaces on the site.

The existing Unicorn Suite was refurbished to incorporate a new dining and bar area, training / conference facilities and a new kitchen.

This suite is the start and end point of the brewery tour, where visitors can sample the brewery’s finest produce.

Phase one consisted of a new staff entrance and car park, with new boundary walls.

The centre comprises:

  • Restaurant and bar
  • Conference suites and fully equipped training facilities
  • Merchandise and gift shop area
  • Exhibition space and historical displays
